Private Instruction is available to all registered and non-registered students. Please download the Private Instruction Handout or read below.
Solos, Duets, Trios
The dance choreography is taught in a total of 3-hours. The 3-hours can be taught in one large block or split into smaller blocks (recommended for younger dancers). If time remains after choreography instruction is complete, the time will be used for polishing.
Payment is due
BEFORE choreography is taught. Checks should be made payable to Dance Xplosion.
FEES: $225 per solo / $160 per dancer in a duet / $160 per dance in a trio
ADDITIONAL POLISHING SESSION FEES: If you would like additional polishing sessions, the cost is $25 per half-hour. This is the total cost for solos, duets and trios.
Private Technique Instruction
Private Technique Instruction is available to registered and non-registered students. Only skills and proper dance technique/form will be taught. No choreography will be provided. The cost includes up to 2 students max. More students may attend for an additional cost per dancer.
Payment is due
BEFORE choreography is taught. Checks should be made payable to Dance Xplosion.
FEES: $30 per half-hour lesson / $50 per hour lesson
**$25 per half-hour lesson if 4 or more lessons are paid for up front
**$45 per hour lesson if 4 or more lessons are paid for up front
For additional dancers: Add $5 per dancer for half-hour lessons
Add $10 per dancer for hour lessons
Group Dances
If you’re interested in having a routine choreographed for a group (4 or more dancers), please contact Amber@DanceXplosionAustin.com. Rates are determined on a group-by-group basis determined by info that Amber will obtain from you during your initial conversation/email.
HOW TO SCHEDULE...
If you have a specific instructor in mind, please contact that instructor and tell them what you are wanting. If they are available, they can schedule times to meet with you that work for everyone. Reminder: Payment for lessons must be received at the DXP desk BEFORE instruction begins.
If you do not have a specific instructor in mind, please email Amber@DanceXplosionAustin.com. Please include as much info as possible in regard to what you are wanting. Amber will place you with the instructor that she feels will meet your needs/wants the best.
It’s party time!! Let us throw your child a birthday celebration to remember for years to come. We have a variety of themes to choose from to make your child’s special day a blast for everyone.
Parties last 1.5 hours. We handle the set-up and clean-up! Party activities depend on the theme selected, but generally consist of an activity while children are arriving, dance and/or movement-based games, a small craft and/or theme-appropriate activity, dance instruction, and time for cake and presents.
The XPLOSION PARTY EXPERIENCE! – $200
-1 or 2 instructors to run the celebration so you can sit back and enjoy yourself
-Party Set-up
-A colorful balloon for each child
-All game and activity supplies
-Dance instruction/music
-Up to 3 tables, 1 food table, table covers and table decorations
-All clean-up!
-A special gift for the birthday girl/boy
*You are responsible for bringing: cake/cupcakes, box drinks, plates, napkins, cups, forks, party favors
*ADD ON: Add $25 for us to provide themed plates, napkins, forks, and juice-box drinks
IMPORTANT COST INFO:
If having 15 or more children OR 9 or more under 6 years of age then a second instructor is required - add $50
Additional time can be added to any party - add $30 per half-hour
A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve a date/time. The balance is due 1 week prior to the party.
To reserve a party, please fill out the Birthday Party Form and return it to the front desk along with your $100 deposit.
